The 2021 East coast open heats up today with this week’s featured Sunday match: Ellipsis Polo (Louis Devaleix, Robby Bilbao, Hilario Ulloa, and Matt Coppola) facing off against Gardenvale Polo Team (20) (Shane Finemore, Pedro Falabella, Christian Laprida Jr., and Felipe Viana) in 20-goal action at Greenwich Polo Club.

This is such an exciting high-goal matchup we have in store for you today. Ellipsis Polo is looking to make an impact on the East Coast Open with their 10-goal superstar player Hilario Ulloa leading the offense, alongside Louis Devaleix, Robert Bilboa, and 2021 U.S Open finalist Matt Coppola. But Gardenvale is a tough team to beat, bringing back an experienced foursome who played together in this very same tournament last year and coming confidently off of a final minute victory over Audi in last week’s featured Sunday match. Can Gardenvale repeat last week’s strong performance against Audi and go 2-0 in the tournament? Or will Ellipsis make a run for the top seed in the semi-finals? Hilario Ulloa is one of the world’s top 5 polo players, attaining the illustrious 10-goal status in 2017, Hilario has remained among the elite players in the world, competing on the global stage in the United States, England and Argentina. He has won the U.S Open three times, and in 2020 joined the legendary Ellerstina team for the Argentine Triple Crown season. He won the East Coast Open most recently in 2016 with White Birch Farm. Greenwich Polo Club was established in 1981 and is recognized as one of the top high-goal polo venues in the world.
